Weekly Learning - Week Beginning 28th November 2022
This week Year 1 have been reading 'The Jolly Christmas Postman'. We wrote Christmas lists to Father Christmas and wrote a Christmas card from Baby Bear to Goldilocks. In Maths we finished our work on subtraction.
In RE we learnt about the story of Hanukkah and also learnt about the ways Jewish people celebrate. We tried some donuts and chocolate coins or gelt. We also had a go playing with dreidels and looked at a menorah or hanukiah.
In Jigsaw we continued to learn about bullying and talked about what bullying is and how we could help someone who is feeling upset or being bullied.
