Week commencing 1st May

We have had a great week building up to the King's Coronation weekend. The children have learnt lots about what that entails for the new King and the Coronation ceremony. 

In Maths this week, the children have continuing their learning around time. They have particularly focussed on converting units of time between hours and minutes, minutes and seconds. We will be continuing this next week.

We started a new English topic this week. The children are using the book 'Fly Eagle Fly' as a stimulus to write a retell with a different point of view. They have been researching the book this week.

Stay and Learn

Thank you to all the parents and carers that came to our Year 4 'Stay and Learn' this week. We had brilliiant fun with our second geography lesson on volcanoes. The children (and adults) know all the different features of a volcano! Well done!
