Week Beginning Monday 7th November 2022

Hello, hope you have all had a lovely week so far!

This week we started looking at subtraction using the column method. We found this quite tricky especially with the exchanging of numbers - we will be coming back to this later in the year. In the meantime please have a look on the assigned tasks on mathletics. Next week we will be working on worded addition and subtraction problems.

Our computing this term is all about online safety. Today the children created a fake webpage (this is on purple mash and will not be visible to anyone outside of Shenley school)

NB. On Sunday 13th November, Mrs Light will be at the Shenley war memorial at 10:45 to do a reading on behalf of Shenley. Year 3 are invited to join her. 

NB. On Wednesday's can children please wear their PE kit to school.
