Week Beginning Monday 30th January 2023

This week in maths we have been looking at statistics involving bar charts and pictograms. Please use matheletics to help your child secure their knowledge and understanding. Towards the end of the week we started looking at worded problems and we will continue with this next week. The children have been deciding if the worded problem will require a multiplication or division sum to work out the answer.

The children have been really enjoying their Ukulele lessons and are becoming more confident at performing! Some children have even asked if they can play what they have been learning during our learning assembly in a couple of weeks!

In Geography we have been doing some map work. We have been identifying symbols on an ordnance map and located key landmarks.
