Week Beginning Monday 27th February 2023

This week in Geography we have been looking at grid references and locating settlements on ordnance maps. The children really enjoyed this as they were able to identify different symbols on the map we had learnt about last half term.

Next week in Geography we will be planning our own settlement. The children will be writing a list of things they need, want to have and don't want to have in their settlement.

In maths we have been adding and subtracting fractions with the same denominator. This weeks homework will support this learning. Next week we will be problem solving with fractions as well as ordering and comparing fractions.
