Week Beginning - Monday 19th September

Hello everyone, hope you are all well and have had a lovely week. 

This week in English the children have been re-writing the story of 'The Paper Bag Princess'. They have been writing the story from the Dragon's point of view. The children have been using conjunctions, single clause and multi-clause sentences in their writing. We have also be focusing on punctuation that was taught in Year 2. 

In maths we have been learning to round numbers to the nearest 10 and 100. We have also been reading and writing a variety of numbers - homework this week will support this learning.

Please remember to read with your child daily and ensure their homework is completed and in school each and every Thursday.
