Week beginning 5/12/22

We had an amazing treat this week when 'Living Things' brought some animals in to school. We saw a tortoise, a corn snake, a giant African millipede, a tarantula, a bearded dragon, a sugar glider and a meerkat. Some of the children got the opportunity to touch the animals and we were all able to stroke the bearded dragon. One very brave person was allowed to hold the tarantula!! We watched the sugar glider fly from one person's arm to another person's shoulder and we watched the bearded dragon eat morio worms. We learned about staying quiet and calm when we are with the animals, to help them to feel safe.
