Week beginning 31st October
The children came back to school with a great attitude to learning. In English we published our story of 'and Tango makes three' and made a class book for all our stories. We have been introduced to our new book Iron Man by Ted Hughes.
In maths we are looking at multiples and factors and rehearsing division facts.
We began our DT project looking at existing illuminated signs and how bulbs may be inside or visual on the outside. We will be building our own Illuminated signs.
We enjoyed our WoW Day where we dressed as an Ancient Greek or a character from a Greek myth. The children learnt the traditional dance the 'Hasapiko', explored Ancient Greek designs used on pottery and created our own pottery piece. They learnt about the Trojan Horse's part in the Greeks winning the war against Troy.
