Week beginning 30.10.23
This week has been a whole school book week. Every class in the school has been reading the book Wolf in the Snow. A little girl and a wolf are lost in the snow. They are both fearful, but show courage-the little girl helps the wolf to find his family and then the wolves help the little girl to get home safely.
The illustrations show the little girl in a red, triangle shaped coat. We used photos of ourselves and different shapes to create our own pictures. We added a picture of a baby wolf and some snow.
We had a fantastic time on Halloween! We dressed up, had a go at scooping out a pumpkin and had fun in the water tray with some orbeez.
This week in maths we have been learning to compare objects using words longer, shorter, fatter, thinner and wider. We used play-doh to show the different words.
