Week Beginning 2nd/9th January 2023 - Week 1 and 2
Welcome back to school! Happy New Year!
It has been a great start to the new year 1! This week we have been really busy starting all of our new topics. We have started reading 'The Last Noo Noo' by Jill Murphy and have been acting out different parts of the story in groups. Below are photos of the children trying to take Marlon's Noo Noo with the Noo Noo snatcher.
We have also been finding the difference between two numbers in Maths. We played a game using cards in pairs. Each person chose a card and whoever had the highest number was the winner. The person with the highest number had to find the difference between the two numbers to work out how many points they got.
