Week beginning 28th November

The children have worked really hard to put all their learning into their own ending to the Iron Man. They have tried to remember to use paragraphs, wow verbs, conjunctions, detailed descriptions with precise adjectives, adverbials and a variety of sentence lengths. They have published them to make a class book, focusing on their handwriting.

In Maths we have looked at estimating and comparing length, mass and capacity. The children have been able to explore this practically.

In Science the children have created and conducted an investigation to see if the size of the pinnae affects the loudness of a sound. They looked at variables and what what they could change and what must stay the same and chose their own ways to record their results.
