Week beginning 27.11.23

This week we have been learning about the Christmas story. We listened to a story about Jesus feeding the 5000 and learned that Jesus is a special person for Christians. In this story, Jesus is a grown man but we were all babies once. We listened to the story about when Jesus was born a long time ago in a far away land. We talked about birthdays and how these are celebrated. Christmas is also a birthday because that is when people celebrate when Jesus was born. At Christmas we do lots of exciting things. One of those exciting things is performing nativity plays. We have been very busy practising songs for our play and this week the children have been learning their line to tell the story. There will be lots of rehearsals next week and then the children will be performing their play on Tuesday 12th December at 9:30am.
