Week beginning 26/9/22

We had a really exciting day on Tuesday this week when we went to Shenley Park to do some apple juicing. When we got to the park we learned how to make apple juice.

First we had to pick 2 apples and cut them into large pieces and remove the core.

Next we turned the handle on a machine which cut the apples into tiny pieces.

Then we turned the handle on another machine which squeezed the juice out of the tiny pieces of apple.

At last we had our apple juice to drink!

Before we walked back to school we were allowed some playtime in the walled garden. We had great fun rolling down the slope!

Thank you to all the parents who were able to come to the park with us, to look after us and keep us safe. We all had a fantastic time!
