Week beginning 24.4.223

This week we have continued our learning about Jack and the Beanstalk. We drew a map of the story and we use it for our re-telling.

The giant wrote a letter to Jack to say sorry for scaring him. Some of the children pretended to be Jack and wrote letters back to the giant.

We thought about what we might like to see at the top of our beanstalks when they grow.

In maths we have been practising our counting and some children have been using a part whole model to start learning about addition.

We were all really excited when the new carpet for our classroom arrived on Tuesday. We love it and we are going to try and keep it clean!
