Week beginning 21/11/22

This week we have been reading 'Anno's Counting Book'. We have been using the book to help us with our counting and also to tell stories.

Nursery and Reception have been learning about subitising-recognising a group of objects without counting them. Nursery have been learning to recognise a group of up to 3 objects. Reception children are learning to subitise up to 6 objects and also to spot numbers within larger groups-for example seeing 2 and 3 within a group of 5.
