Week beginning 18.12.23

We have had a very exciting last week of term with lots of fun activities.

We decorated some Christmas biscuits with lots of icing, marshmallows, jelly tots and different types of sprinkles. They looked and tasted amazing!

We had a visit from Santa and his reindeer. He brought Vixen and Christmas to meet us. They are really beautiful and have huge antlers. We learned that the antlers are made of bone. In the country where the reindeer live, they eat lichen, because that's the only thing available for them to eat and in the winter it is dark all day and night and in the summer it is light all day and night.

We had our Christmas party where we ate lots of party food (including the biscuits we had made earlier) and played lots of party games-pass the parcel, musical statues, musical bumps, simon says and sleeping lions. It was lots of fun!

We watched The Nutcracker on cbeebies. The children all really enjoyed it. Click on the link below to watch it again!

Thank you so much for all the cards and gifts we have received. We hope you all have a lovely Christmas and a relaxing break from school. We look forward to seeing you all again in the new year.
