Week beginning 10th October 2022

The children have been looking at Riddles this week. First they found the features of a riddle, then they created their own riddles which we were then able to try and guess.

In RE the children are explore Sikhism and comparing this to Christianity. They began by exploring what God can mean and represent to different people before finding out about Christian baptism and the Sikh ceremonies when a baby is born and named. We were visited by a local vicar who talked to the children about baptism in a Church of England and their role as a vicar.

The children had a special visit from the Dogs Trust who have been very informative about how to be safe around dogs and all about the difference between their 5 senses and ours as humans.
