Week beginning 10.7.23

We have had an exciting week this week, with our 'Amazing Africa' book week. On Monday, we had a house morning and had a go at 4 activities to help us to learn about Africa. We did some African dance, storytelling, art and made African necklaces. 

 

We had a visit from some African animals who came with ZooLab. We met an African land snail called Cheese, a millipede called Millie, a tarantula called Tinkerbelle and a snake called Cornflake. We were allowed to hold, stroke or just say hello to all the animals except Tinkerbelle who would make us itch if we held her so we just said hello.

We had a visit from Ronald who taught us some drumming rhythms. It was great fun and very loud!
