Week 2

Another busy week for Rowling class. We have explored estimating numbers, rounding to the nearest 10 and 100. Next week we will be rounding to the nearest 1000 and then securing addition and subtraction mental fluency. 

In English the children explored the use of descriptive language when writing about an unlikely hero and describing a setting.The children met Arthur our unlike hero from Arthur and the Golden Rope. 

In science we have been exploring sound, how sounds are made.
