Week 2 - Monday 13th June 2022
Hello, hope everyone enjoyed the hottest day of the year on Friday! We had a lovely time at Celtic Harmony and were very lucky to have the weather on our side!
Firstly, I would like to congratulate all Year 4 children for their impeccable effort, determination and resiliance for the multiplication check. I am very proud of each and every one of them. Regardless of their score, I have reassured all children that this does not determine what I know about them and their abilities.
This week all children at Shenley buddied up with another class for reading. Year 4 have buddied up with nursery and we all thoroughly enjoyed reading stories to the little people at Shenley. Check out the pictures below.
Towards the end of the week, the children who stayed in school on Friday had a super fun day. I planned some 2D art activities and because of the weather they were treated to ice lollies and water fun!
Next week is sport's week, please send children to school every day in their PE kit. I hope to see many of you on Thursday 23rd June for our Sports Fun Day.
