This week, we have been looking at weather and climate in Geography! We have explored different biomes and researched a country of our choice to research, write and perform a weather forecast!  We also used the Koppen System, to determine the different climate zones across the Americas. 

In Science, we were looking at Carl Linnaeus's classification system. We focused on the different classes, firstly by matching the different characteristics to each class. Then we became taxonomists, by trying to classify the duck-billed platypus. Is it a mammal? Is it a bird?  We explored the different characteristics and used these to support our reasons for our classification.
