W.C 16th January 2023

In Art, we created our own stencils. We designed a range of ideas that reflected us, our thoughts and things we enjoy. Using card, we created our stencil for the final piece. We then began creating our backgrounds. We experimented with the use of colour both contrasting and harmonious. Using the colour wheel, we picked different colours to experiment with and how to create patterns. Finally, we experiments using a monochrome effect, we looked at our stencils and how these might look with a pop of colour.

In PE, we developed our learning of matching, mirroring and balancing but this time on equipment. We were ensure that our toes were pointed and our balances were counted.

In Guided Reading, we have started reading Holes. We are enjoying the story of Stanley Yelnats and how he has found himself at Camp Green Lake!
