Settling In: 4th-22nd September 2023
What an amazing start to the school year your children have had! I am so proud of how they have all been coming in and engaging with their learning. We have been reading books about families, reading So Much by Trish Cooke who gives the Nursery class their name, as well as Each Peach Pear Plum and Peepo by Janet and Allan Ahlberg who give their name to the Reception class. We have also read The Family Book by Todd Parr and The Great Big Book of Families by Mary Hoffman and have talked about who is in our family.
The children have been enjoying the good weather and we have made the most of learning outside-they loved the paddling pool in those first few hot days back at school. Have a look at the pictures below to see what the children have been getting up to in their first weeks of the Autumn Term.
