5th & 6th January 2023

It was a great start to 2023 with the children coming back with a very positive attitude - well done Year 4.

During these two days, we began our PSHE learning on 'Dreams and Goals'. We began by listening to the story 'salt in his shoes', which is the inspriational journey of Michael Jordan trying to persue his dream! The children then talked about their own dreams and decorated and wrote them on leaves.

In Geography, we started our new sequence of learning 'The UK and Europe'. First, we revisited the continents - Year 4 know them very well!

We then looked at the countries in the United Kingdom, using atlases to locate them. We also located the capital cities. We then played a game where the children had to match countries, flags, capital cities and national symbols. We labelled maps and drew our own UK diagrams! Super learning Y4.
