Another busy week in year 3! 
 

In English we have been looking at play scripts. We particularly looked at the stage directions to help build our use of expression and performance skills! Watch some of our Mad Hatters Tea Party Scene practices, there’s definitely a lot of potential actors in our class!

The clocks still ticking in maths and there was lots to fit in! We looked at Roman numerals on clocks, the difference between am and pm, estimating time and time duration! Next week we will be testing ourselves to see how accurate our estimations were.

We started our new history and art topic Ancient Egypt and Ancient Egyptian sculpture! In History we looked at the timeline of events through the Egyptian civilisation and some of the famous sculptures from this time. 

Friday was a little quieter than usual with some of the class travelling back in time but here at school some of year 4 came to join us and we had fun completing a project about something we love and we got to celebrate the sunshine with a water fight and ice lollies!

Some of the class were excited to go to Celtic Harmony this week and sleepover! Even though we missed part of the weekend we had so much fun! Check out what we got up to on the link below!!
