Week Four - Monday 9th May 2022

What an exciting end to the week! The children really enjoy 'House Day' and this term it was all about being creative. Check out Mrs Amos blog for more information and some pictures!

This week in maths we found fractions of amounts, the children were dividing numbers and multiplying where necessary to find these amounts. We then used these skills to work out problems. For example, In a test there are 30 marks total. Nasir gets 3/5 of the marks. How many marks did he get?

In English this week we watched a short clip from Wallace and Gromit about one of Wallace's crazy contraptions, 'The Snoozatron' the children then designed their own sleep aid devices and used fronted adverbials to include order of operation.

Next week the children will be making their Perfect Pizza in food technology, they will be coming home from school today with a list of the ingredients they will need. Please bring them to school on Friday 20th May in a named bag.

Have a lovely weekend,

Miss Atkinson and Mrs Light
