Week beginning 9th May 2022

In English the children have been able to explore Tanka poems using strong adjectives describing the Antarctic, the ice and the emotions the crew would have felt seeing the magnificent sights. 

Multiplication and division methods were revisited, interpreting remainders looked at and word problems.

The characteristics of birds, amphibians, reptiles, mammals and fish were looked at and the different ways they reproduce and care for their young were explored.

We also enjoyed a whole school 'Arts' House Day where the children were in their house colour groups and got the opportunity to enjoy drama, art, dance and music. A great time was had by all!
