Week beginning 7th March 2022

The children have been exploring percentages this week and the equivalent amounts in fractions and decimals. They used scale to work out some percentage questions.

In English the children wrote a narrative taking the story on. They wrote about who Obi found and the collapsing of Gaia's tower. It has been edge of the seat stuff. We have recently found out why Ade's tower has not been attacked by the bluchers. The children are planning a balanced argument as to whether or not Ade should leave the tower to look for the someone or something he thinks he has seen...

While exploring the properties of materials in science the children devised their own investigation for insulating coffee cups. The children used thermometers to measure the water at intervals and record the results.
