Week beginning 6th December

We have been exploring poetry and word choices in English this week. We used thesaurus' to find alternative words and phrases. We have created a whole class cinquain where we listened to syllables and created words and phrases about poppies. 

In Maths, we have looked at addition and subtraction column method and applied our reasoning skills to identify errors. We spent today looking at division as sharing and used counters and drawings to demonstrate our learning. 

We finished our last dance session with Haley, until after the holidays and the dance is coming on really well!

Well done on reading more regularly at home, we were able to join in with the treat! We are aiming for 100% next week (although 85% would be totally awesome!)

We finished our chocolate boxes and completed an evaluation on whether we fulfilled the design brief and thought about what we could do differently next time.
