Week beginning 31/01/22

This week we have been learning about Chinese New Year. One of the children in our class knew how to make Chinese dragons. He became teacher for the afternoon and modelled to the class how to make them.

He then helped some of his friends to make Chinese dragons too!

We had a lovely Chinese feast to celebrate Chinese New Year.

On Friday it was Number Day. There were lots of numbers hidden around the classroom. First we had to find them and then we had to put them in the right order. Then we had to choose a number and find that amount of objects. It was very exciting! Have a look at all the objects we found. Did they match our number?
