Week 2 - Week Beginning 10th January 2022
This week we have continued our learning around the story 'Coming to England'. The children have been thinking about what kinds of clothes they would wear in hot and cold weather. We talked about what clothes Floella would wear in the warm weather in Trinidad and what she would wear in the cold weather when she came to England.
We have also been learning about Alma Thomas a brilliant artist who used paint, collage and fingerprinting to create beautiful colourful artwork. In Nursery this week we tried to create our own paintings inspired by Alma's artwork. Below our some of Alma's pieces and some of ours!
