WC 18th July 2022

It’s the final week in Milligan Class! We are so proud of everything you have accomplished this year it’s been a real adventure. We hope you have had as much fun and made as many amazing memories as we have.

We would like to wish you and your families a wonderful summer and all the best in Year 4 and beyond…

Dear Year 3,

Wow! I can’t believe I’ve been teaching you for six months! It has been a true pleasure to be a part of your educational journey. I have seen you all develop and grow, as you strengthened your skills in friendship, resilience, curiosity and kindness. Every member of Miligan Class has impressed and inspired me (and of course, made me laugh!)

I would like to thank everyone involved who has made this year one to remember, Miss Burton, our fantastic Teaching Assistant, Mrs Winsor, Mrs Manix-Mooring and Mrs Selwyn, our fantastic one-to-ones. All those who have volunteered for trips, and every single parent and guardian, for their support and enthusiasm. I would also like to say a BIG thank you to all of Year 3, you are truly incredible.

I will never forget the singing on the coach ride to the swimming centre, bat-hunting at Celtic Harmony, the class games, your jokes, the fun-facts you told me, the trip to the Tring Natural History Museum, or the entirety of our WOW day (who would’ve known we would make such good Ancient Egyptians?).

As we say goodbye, I have one message I hope you all take to heart. Be kind to others, be kind to the planet and be kind to yourself.

Have a great summer!

Best Wishes

Mr Donnellan

My dearest Milligan Class,

I can’t believe our incredible journey together has come to an end. I’ve never come across a class with such character and life, it’s made everyday a unique experience. Over the past 2-3 years it has been such a pleasure getting to know and work with you all. We’ve been through lockdowns, virtual learning, trips, residentials, bad days and the best days. Throughout it all you’ve amazed me with your resilience and determination to do your best. I’ve seen you all grow into amazing young people and I have all the confidence you will continue on this journey into year 4 and beyond.

It makes me sad to watch you move on but also fills me with immense pride and excitement for your next adventure! I know you’re leaving year 3 ready for a new challenge and I can not wait to see all of your future achievements - just know whatever you do I’ll be cheering you on, go and be the best you can be! I’ll look forward to still seeing you around the school and my door will always be open if you’d like to share your learning or just say hi! Although I won’t be in the classroom with you on the next step in your educational adventure I’m very excited to be able to share PE lessons with you

I’m so grateful I got to be your teacher and thank you for being the best class, you’ve left me with a million wonderful memories and will always have a special place in my heart.

Wishing you and your families a wonderful summer and all the best for the future!

All my love and a million hugs

Dear Milligan Class,

Wow, what an amazing 2 years (nearly) that I have shared with you all. How fast the time has gone!

You are all amazing and so very special. I have loved watching you learn, grow and blossom into the incredible people you are today. You are definitely ready to continue your schooling adventure in Year 4.

Remember to continue to aim high and keep reaching for those stars.
