W.C 13th September 2021

Another busy week in Year 6! We began our new English text Wisp - which is a story of hope where memories are brought to life and promises of a changed kingdom.

In Maths, we have been continuing our place value work with ordering and comparing numbers including decimals. We have also begun out timestable challenges where we complete a multiplication grid and see if we can improve our school each time.

In Science, we have begun our topic of Classification, where we started by revisiting our learning from Year 4. We have then organised animals into different groups.

In History, we have been creating our own timelines of Charles Darwin's lifes to begin our topic of Darwin's Delights.

This week, we have also been reading a variety of Roald Dahl extracts as his birthday was on Monday. We have enjoyed reading; Going Solo, The Witches, George's Marvellous Medicine and the Minpins.
