Week Commencing 17th January

This week has been a great week in Jeffers Class!

We started our new Geography topic which is the UK and Australia. We had a very exciting start with a trip to Australia. We packed our suitcases with what we thought we would need for the trip and made our own passports. Then we went on a 'flight' and landed in Australia. We were very excited and when we got there we made flags and boomerangs. We will be learning all about this great country and comparing it to the UK.

In  PE we have been doing football. We have particularly worked on our passing and dribbling skills and know that we should use the inside of our foot to pass the ball.

We have started a 'Star of the Day' now. Our 'Star of the Day' will be chosen at the end of each day and the next day they will be able to choose a cushion to sit on and also choose who they sit next to. They will also get to go to lunch at the front of the line on that day. Well done to Jack who was our first ever 'Star of the Day' for Monday.

Have a lovely weekend!
