Week beginning 7th February 2022
The children have continued to enjoy writing using Boy in the Tower as stimuli. It has certainly added to much discussion and empathy for our main character Ade.
In Maths the children have been exploring conversion of metric measurements and knowing when to multiply or divide ton accurately convert units.
In RE we have started to look at leadership and religious leaders and the attributes a leader might need to be successful.
Adele was our inspiration for our music this half term and the children were able to perform one of her songs using the glockenspiel for the instrumental part and singing with our Adeles backing vocals. They were amazing.
In DT the children designed a bread for a particular purpose and then were able to make it with their own alterations to the basic recipe. Each bread produced, was as unique and wonderful as each pupil in Morpurgo class! Such expert bakers!
