Week beginning 4th October 2021

What a totally awesome class assembly you performed today. It didn't run as smoothly as we would have liked (mainly due to Mrs Jacobs messing up with the technical support- Sorry!) But as the saying goes 'the show must go on'  and on it did. You were true professionals. 

This week (aside from assembly practise) we have been exploring air resistance further in Science and experienced its affect using sheets of cardboard and then devising a test and writing a scientific question to test out. 

We completed our geography work comparing Mexico to the UK, comparing their similarities and differences. 

In English we have begun looking at our new book Monsterology and received a provisional licence for the study of mythical beasts. The learning this week has focused on formal language and ambitious vocabulary.
