Week beginning 13th December 2021

Dear everyone,

We have had an exciting week wth lots of Christmas activities taking place!

At the beginning of the week we were lucky to watch the Foundation Stage Christmas performance which was fantastic.  Kipling class were a very good audience and they were very appreciative clapping after all of the songs!  We were then very busy practising for our own Christmas play 'Lights, Camels, Action' ready for the two performances on Thursday!  The children did brilliantly and were especially good at the dancing!  Well done to everyone involved and a big thank you to parents and carers for helping the children to practise the songs at home and with the costumes!  It was so lovely to welcome parents and families back in (even if it was with a mask and social distancing)!

We have been busy creating Christmas cards and on Friday we went to see the pantomime of 'Dick Whittington'.  The children were unaware of this traditional tale so we listened to the story before going to the panto on Friday.

The children loved the show and were very enthusiastic and participated fully!

What a fantastic way to end the week!

We wish you all a safe and very Happy Christmas and New Year, and would like to say a tremendous thank you for all of the lovely gifts and presents you very generously gave us!

We will see you in 2022!
