Week beginning 07/03/22

This week we have been reading a story about a little girl called Katie who goes to the National Gallery and jumps inside some of the paintings there! She has a huge adventure and discovers lots of things about the paintings along the way.

The paintings in the story are those shown below. Which is your favourite painting?

The children have been learning how to bowl hoops to each other like the little girl in The Umbrellas painting.

Children a long time ago used to play with hoops. The children have been playing with other toys from a long time ago.

Some of the children have worked in the small world area to create their own landscapes.

The children have been working on their art skills to copy things they like from the paintings in the story.
