Week beginning 01/11/21
We have been working on improving the Forest School area of the outside classroom and recently, Gristwood and Toms delivered some bark for the floor and some logs for the children to sit on. This has really improved the area and the children have really enjoyed spending time there, making each other mud soup and cupcakes, chatting sitting on the logs and playing on the tyres and in the den. The children have also really enjoyed finding lots of different coloured Autumn leaves in the area as they fall from the tree.
In Maths this week, we are learning to compare objects by size, using the words longer, taller and shorter. The children have enjoyed making towers and worms and comparing their size.
