Week 4 - Monday 20th September 2021

Good Afternoon Parents and Carers,

How lucky have we been with this weather? I hope it continues for a little longer!

This week has been really lovely, I finally feel like myself and Mrs Light have settled into school and so have all the children, particular our two new class mates! Our timetable is busy but we have all now found our feet.

This week we have been recapping decimals and tenths in Maths, the children done some great work and it was lovely to see the enthusiasm. Next week we will be looking at rounding and estimating.

In English we have been working with verbs to describe how we travelled through our maps, we also made a plan in preparation for writing our short narrative next week.

Art has been lots of fun, we have really enjoyed learning cross hatching skills to make our work pop! We will continue with this technique for the rest of this half term.
