Week 3 - Monday 17th January 2022

I am sure the children have told you all by now that we made poo in science this week! As part of our topic, ‘Animals Including Humans’ we looked out the human digestive system and re-created the process of how our digestive system makes poo. We used a mix of ingredients, ground them down and moved them from stomach (bag) to small intestines (tights) and then out through the anus. The children loved the experiment and I’m sure they will be talking about it for many years.

In music we our learning a new rap song called ‘Stop Bullying!’ I have suggested we all dress up as rappers once we have learnt the song so we can record it and share with everyone – watch this space!

In maths we will continue looking at division, the children have been working really hard with the bus stop method this week and I am so proud of their efforts.

Have a lovely weekend, Miss Atkinson & Mrs Light
