It’s feels like a long time since we’ve been in the classroom after all of last weeks sporting excitement! There has still been plenty of fun and learning going on in Milligan class this week…
In English we continued looking at play scripts. We looked at the difference between novel dialogue and play script format and had a go at creating play scripts using different texts. Of course we had to put on some performances too!
The Owl and the Pussycat
In maths we continued our work on time. We’ve look at duration and adding and subtracting time!
We know from previous learning what plants need to grow - water, light, nutrients from the soil and the right temperature, but we’ve set out to investigate which of these are most vital to healthy plant growth. We created an experiment for which we took away one of the things plants need to grow so we could observe and record the effect it would have.
We got very hands on in art this week creating our own Egyptian sculptures. We used our death mask designs from last week to create our own out of clay!
