We have had a busy week in Jeffers this week. 

In Maths, we are learning to tell the time. We are growing in confidence with 15 minute intervals and have started to look at 5 minute intervals. We made our own clocks and also played a range of games to make this learning fun. Please practice this at home with your children this week. 

In English, we have been writing our own retellings of the Rapunzel story in the style of a diary entry. The children tried really hard and produced some great writing using adjectives and ensuring they stayed in the past tense. 

Our Art lessons this week focused on Aboriginal dot paintings. We have looked at what the symbols mean and produced our own versions using Australian animals.
