Wider Curriculum

As we are studying Where the Wild Things are, I wanted us to have a look at some art focusing on using mixed media and creating depth and perspective. If you do not have any of the art resources which I mention use what you have. A pencil is a good enough tool to create the same/ similar effects. Please send me photos of your finished piece!

We are continuing to learn about the Vikings arrival in Britain.

Look through the slides to find out more about the effect the Vikings had on the Anglo-Saxons in Britain. Look out for the changes that happen to the kingdoms of England. How has England changed?

Use the Timeline cards… cut them out and create a timeline of what happened on your floor or tabletop.

Use the timeline sheet to check if you are correct. Now you can get creative- draw a comic strip showing how the Vikings took control.
