For our Romans learning this week, you are going to find out about Hadrian's wall. Hadrian’s Wall was a barrier that the Roman Empire built to keep invaders from the north out of the Roman province of Britain. It stretched across northerBritain for 73 miles (118 kilometers) from coast to coast.

Below is a powerpoint to work through and the activities to complete underneath. I have also uploaded a useful video that will  upport you with your learning.

I really enjoyed finding about Hadrian's wall and why it was built, I hope you do too!

LI: To understand the importance of Hadrian's wall during the Roman period.
