LI: To produce a Pop Art picture in the style of Andy Warhol

Key Words:

pop Art, unrealistic, repeated image, pattern, oil pastels, portraits, famous, iconic.

Task 1:

Create a pop art picture in the style of Andy Warhol. You can either take a picture of yourself and repeat it on a piece of paper 3/4 times. Print it out in black and white and make your features stand out in different bright colours.

If you would prefer to not use a picture of you, you can use a photo of another person. I have attached a sheet you could use.

You can also make your image online - remember to always do this with an adult. Here are two websites you could use.

Challenge:

Can you answer these questions:

If Andy Warhol was alive today, who do you think would be a good famous person for him to make a portrait of?

Why?
