Wider Curriculum

This week we are starting back with Forest school!  If your child currently attends class on a Tuesday they will need to bring their wellies and warm/waterproof coat, hat, gloves and scarf for this chilly winter weather.  Please refer to the Forest school section on the website for ideas to try at home.  This week we will be collecting sticks and using our imaginations to pretend that they are different things and have different uses.  We will also be making collages using sticks, leaves and anything else we find in the outdoor environment.

LI: To learn about Victorian Outdoor Toys and Games

Over the past two weeks you have looked at your own toys and created adverts for them. This week we will take a jump back in History to the Victorian times and look at the toys that they played with both inside and outside.
