What Lives On Us? Science Experiment

In our last week at school, we set up a science experiment to find out about the germs that live on us. Check back here to find out what happens!
We have started an experiment to find out what lives on us. We touched bread with unwashed hands and sealed it in a plastic bag. We then washed our hands with water, touched another slice of bread and sealed it in another plastic bag. Then we washed our hands with soap and water, touched another slice of bread and sealed it in a plastic bag. We have been checking the bread every day to see what has happened and so far... nothing! I will keep checking it and post photographs when I see results.
On 30th March I noticed a small spot of mold on two slices of bread-the one touched by dirty hands and the one touched by hands washed with water. I will keep checking and post photos when I see any changes.

By 3rd April the mould spots had grown on the bread touched by dirty hands and the bread touched by hands washed with water. Still nothing on the bread touched with hands washed with soap and water. What do you think that shows us? Email me your thoughts...
