Wellbeing and transition

Normally at this time of the year we are working on 'transition' and reflecting on the year that has passed and looking forward to a new start with our teacher in September.  It is a time to think about 'change' and some people love changes and other people really aren't keen!  However we know change happens and reflecting on and talking about our feelings about this can really help us. This week instead of focusing on our normal areas of learning we can spend some time creating a 'memories' page about our time in Hertfordshire class this year.

Have a read of the book below and share your own feelings with someone in your family. Look back to changes which have happened in the past and focus on how you dealt with the changes and the positive aspects of the changes.

At school on Tuesday we are having a class 'bubble' party to celebrate the end of the year.  It would be lovely if you could have a mini party at home and play some of your favourite games and eat some of your favourite party food!  Please send in some of your photos so we can share them on our class web page!

Finally, I thought it would be lovely if you could create a little booklet over the holidays to share with your class teacher when you return to school so that they can get to learn a little more about you!
