Wellbeing and P.E.

We are all very excited and looking forward to seeing everyone back at school on the 8th of March.  We have all experienced a huge range of emotions at this time and your child may well need to have some chats with you about how they feel about coming back to school.  They may well be feeling lots of different emotions so opportunities to talk about their feelings are important (remember you can share some of your feelings too!).  At Shenley we use the mantra from Protective Behaviours when we talk about feelings -

'Feelings are feelings, but behaviour is a choice'.

We emphasise that eveyone experiences a wide range of emotions at different times and this is fine, but we choose our behaviours.

I thought it would be lovely to share this poem about returning to school and then you may wish to use some of the other resources below to give your child time to think and reflect on how they are feeling about coming back to school and to focus on some of the positive aspects in particular which they love and enjoy!

We can't wait to see you and welcome you back!

As we have just moved into a new season, I thought it would be fun to try this spring workout!
